Here at the Evans' household we had a great 2010! We made great strides in our home improvement last year! We removed all our carpet, finished painting the dining room, painted the living room, upgraded our tv and refinished our hardwood floors.
We took a lot of trips - Ohio to Florida and back for Spring Break; Hocking Hills in June; Philly, NYC and D.C. over the summer; Mom and I went to California in November. Our trips are finished for a while as we save up for some other things and pay some things off. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on June 20th and T.D. took me on a surprise trip to Hocking Hills.
We filmed one wedding this year as we took the summer off since we got married in 2009 and filmed a couple weddings that summer too. This year we will be hoping to film more weddings as we know a lot of people getting married. We have been increasing our commercial video offerings with local companies and will be continuing that this year.
My job has been great! I am so glad that I have been blessed with a great boss that understands how I think and how I work. I'm not bothered or micromanaged and I still made as much in 2010 as the job I quit (that was salary) in 2009! My goal is to increase my income 30% in 2011.
T.D. is enjoying teaching (this is his 11th year) and the Basketball team is doing well so far at 5-1.
We are still attending the Urbana First Baptist church where I help with the Youth and play guitar in the Praise Team on Sunday mornings.
We hosted our first Christmas at our home this year, my Mom's family on Christmas Eve and my Dad on Christmas Day. T.D's sister and parents came over during the week and we did all of their presents here also. We celebrated New Year's Eve last night at Chattan Loch with Steve Ward and Erika Marzec who we will be attending their wedding in October!
The next thing I am looking forward to in a couple days is the birth of Ford Edward Wienert from my friends Amber and Nate! Good luck Amber!
We are looking forward to great things in 2011 as I hope you are - until the next update...
