When we got on 33 South I kinda guessed we would be going to Hocking Hills State Park. I had never been there so I didn't know what to expect. We first pulled into a dirt road called Hocking Hills Canopy Tours. I didn't know what that meant, but found out it was a zip line tour through the forest!

The tour was GREAT! We went tree to tree and some zips were 600 feet long! It was really easy and we had great guides. They told us about the plants and trees that we were looking at as we went by each platform. It was an awesome experience, I was really surprised by T.D.'s creativity!
After the ziplines we went to our cabin which was very secluded in the woods. No one within sight! We had no wifi and no cell reception! Just a couple days of eating cake (which I'll get to later) in bed and watching tv together. The cabin also had an indoor hot tub!
T.D. saved the best surprise for last - dessert at the cabin. I didn't get a chance to eat any of the lemon cake that I ordered for our wedding. T.D. called our cake lady and had her make a special lemon anniversary cake just for the two of us so that I could eat it! As soon as I opened it I cried for about 5 minutes. I hugged him and I couldn't even get out a Thank You. I can't believe he had remembered that and it meant so much to me! And then that is where the eating cake in bed part comes in, which was amazing!
We used the hot tub of course each night! It had lights that changed colors, and the best part was it was indoors! No bugs to worry about. For T.D.'s gift I made a calendar and each month has a photo of something we did in that month last year!
The next day we didn't have a plan, we went canoeing, to Old Man's Cave and ate at a local pizza shop for lunch. We had dinner at a little diner in town. Here are some pictures below.
