We went from Columbus, Ohio to Chapel Hill, NC. There we visited T.D.'s video professor from college, and had some great food at his old college haunts.
From CH, we traveled to Raleigh and ate at Clyde Cooper's BBQ.
<--WHICH WAS AWESOME! We both got a sandwich, fries, sweet tea and homemade pork rinds (didn't eat those) for $11.00 and they only take cash. Then it was on to Savannah, Ga with a stop over at the worst rest stop in America - South of the Border.
While in Savannah, we had a great dinner on River Street, bought some candy and went on a walking tour with Savannah Dan!
After Savannah we went to Daytona Beach and stayed with my cousin Stephen in his apt, and had a couple days at the beach.
We were also there during T.D.'s birthday so my Uncle Doug, Aunt Deb and cousin Mark came over and we all had dinner together. They even brought T.D. a cake!
After Daytona it was on to Atlanta, Ga to go to the World of Coke. It was a cool experience and we tasted soda from all over the world! (Beverly is gross)
But the Coca-Cola polar bear was so neat! He moved like a real person (bear) so real!
Then it was the long 8 hour trek back home. We stopped over in Corbin, Ky - had our Easter Breakfast at Cracker Barrel and got back home around 1pm on Easter Sunday.
It was a great road trip, and I'm looking forward to our next one in July/August!
Other events since March include - My 26th birthday. T.D. got me a large picture of when OSU beat Michigan in 2006 when we are rushing the field, because I was at that game! And a PS3, which I feel was more a present for him than me, haha.
My mom also got me an ice cream cake which she neglected to properly freeze.
The month of May has flown by since T.D. is busy filming end of year school events and graduations. T.D. will have to write the blog about the finale of LOST. I'll just end this by saying that Crystal is better than Lee and everyone knows it.
